She has been fond of singing since she was a child, and discovered her love for singing through her involvement in school plays.
He began his career as a lyricist, composer and lead vocalist in an original pop band.
He then began his solo career, pursuing a wide range of musical styles, and performed in sessions with players of jazz, traditional Japanese songs, gospel music, blues, pop, folk songs, and more.

He has also gained experience performing with big bands and on cruise ships both domestically and internationally, including the Shin Nihonkai High-Speed Ferry, Tokyo Kyushu Ferry, and Pacific Venus, and has performed in a wide range of genres.
He has performed at long-established jazz clubs and made recordings, mainly with leading Japanese jazz musicians such as Norio Maeda & the Windbreakers, Takao Neichi Quartet, and Kuniyoshi Yashiro Quartet.
He has been praised for the dynamic expressiveness that emanates from his body, which is by no means large.

The album "Hanaakari," with all songs arranged by Norio Maeda and performed by Norio Maeda & the Windbreakers, has been well-received since its release.
Keeping the promise he made to Norio Maeda before his death, he is currently active as a lyricist, providing lyrics mainly for the groups he is a part of.

He has also attracted attention as a motorcyclist, appearing at numerous motorcycle events and TV shows.
On YouTube, RyuTube, a talk variety show featuring Senryu master and 16th Generation Senryu poet, aims to promote culture and the arts through collaborative activities between the music and literary worlds. The show will celebrate its 5th anniversary in February 2025, and the singer and host have also appeared at related events.
